Our History

Although we began operations in March of 2026, we have been baking for decades and have learned from generations of women in our family who are still cherished and remembered from the recipes we now use today. In particular my Grandmother who taught me to bake along side my Mom at a very early age and we have incorporated those recipes and techniques in our everyday lives. Because my Grandmother was such a huge part of my life the inspiration for the name of our business came from where she was raised in a small rural farm town in Ohio called North Star.

Coming from the country life, we understand the difference of taste in made from scratch products. We proudly make our own pastry dough, bread dough, and fillings by hand. There is just something special about tasting the love and hard work it takes to make the delicious creations from scratch.

The traditions, skills and recipes that have been carried through the generations keep the memories of our loved ones with us everyday and we are truly honored and humbled to be able to share them with you. We hope that you enjoy these treasures of taste as much as we enjoy making them.
